Angel Morales, Jr. August 1, 1959 - June 14, 2023

Angel Morales, Jr. passed away on June 14, 2023, in Valencia, CA. Born on August 1, 1959, in Los Angeles, CA, Angel lived a happy life on the West Coast. Angel married his high school sweetheart, Andrea C. Acosta, in 1980. He was the proud and dedicated father of his two children, Cereza Christina Oronoz (Cesar) and Andrew Joseph Morales (Elva). Angel is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, Olivia Oronoz, Diego Oronoz and Mateo Morales, sisters Lorraine Morales and Mary Helen Aguirre, and brother Rick Morales.

Angel graduated from Wilson High School in Los Angeles in 1978. After graduation, he enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served from 1978 to 1979. Immediately following, he served an additional five years in the reserves. At the end of his service, Angel started a 37-year career with the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power as a Commercial Field Representative. Angel remained in California and enjoyed 40 years as a devoted resident of Canyon Country.

Angel's rosary and funeral mass will be held at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Canyon Country, CA  on June 30, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.. Angel will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
