Larry Doby Richardson, Sr, 75, passed away on July 4, 2023
Larry Richardson Sr, was born on May 6, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA, to Albert Richardson Sr, and Eula Richardson. He was one of six children, a loving brother to siblings Eleanor, Albert Jr, Martha, McKinley, and Samuel
He married Helen Love in the summer of ’69, with whom he had four children twins LaTonya and Larry Jr., Nicole, and Robert.
In 2000, he found joy again in Yvette Odom Campbell -, and from that union was blessed with twins Evan and Ebony Richardson. His blessings doubled once again giving him two granddaughters, Cynthia Denise Dudley, and Leanee Faye Garcia.
To Larry, family was the greatest gift, the greatest stronghold. To him, the best thing was simply being with his family; sitting in the backyard and eating good food, playing spades and dominoes, making everyone laugh at his jokes, and simply enjoying the moment. In that way he lived his life to the fullest as his love for his family was all he needed to sustain him.
He is survived by his children, granddaughters, and siblings.
